Photography ( digital , 35 mm and
occasionally Medium Format)
I have been doing Outdoor Photography for 28 years. My Formal training
was via The New York Institute of Photography with degrees in
Professional Photography and Advanced Animal and Wildlife Photography.
I work primarily in digital photography but occasionally revert to 35
mm or Medium Format for certain events. I do not "enhance" my work via
computer, rather I use the "what I shoot is what I print" approach . My
preference is Nature and Wildlife but places like Annapolis and the
Watermen's way of life are always good subjects.

"Starlight"
48" x 48"
Enamel on Lucite
|
Mixed Media on Lucite.
N. Elizabeth Schlatter, Asst. Dir. and Asst. Curator, Univ. of Richmond
Museums wrote, "Miller uses enamel paint on Plexiglas to create
incredibly smooth, glossy, abstract images. Globular shapes and waves
of color move across the picture plane as if in a cosmic dance. Bursts
of light provide loci of power, centers of radiation that effuse energy
and reaction... Miller's seamless surfaces act as windows into vibrant
galaxies...yet her art is more fantastical than anything a scientist
has seen."
